HAD-A-HART...

We have been over-run lately. Something had to be done.

....
....
Hey, cool!
This recipe
is easy!
And with
all these
critters,
I can
feed a
crowd.
....
....
....
Okay everybody,
dinner in
twenty minutes...
.
So glad you
came by!
Would
somebody
please
set the
table?
..
Isn't it amazing how when you have a pot-luck supper, no two people ever bring the same dish?

Aawwhhh He’s cute!!

Ya know, If you catch a few more you can make a mouse fur coat for your computer mouse. How cool would that be??

Awe that little cute rodent! Love the "chocolate mous--" bit!

Pot luck dinners are super organized. At least the ones I go to which happens to be a bunch of the GLBT folks who are overly organized, anal with a touch of OCD. So no dish gets served twice. Gotta see this- almost like worker ants in progress.

P.S. I love your blog!! The photos are great, do you take all/most of them yourself? Very nice either way.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH HA HA HA HA! You are hysterical. I'm linking you, kiddo. You're exactly the kind of people my folks at the field enjoy.

Thanks for the chuckle. My day got off to a bad start but I feel much better now. LMAO!

Thanks for the invite.

Maybe you can also cook an exotic recipe out of those critters, like "Greek Mous-saka", perhaps?

I brought some eggplants.

Jolly good!

Thanks for the invitation!

I was going to offer to bring dessert but since I see that chocolate mousse (not mouse I hope) is being prepared I'll bring some broccoli cheese soup.

What a cute little critter. I'm glad you went the humane route in catching him.

Whim - Yeah, I'm kind. I catch 'em in the Havahart, then one good whop with the axe and they're ready to skin. LOL

Wow, Wiz, thanks for the invite!!!!!! Dinner looks, um.... interesting, to say the least! ;)

I used to laugh get a chuckle over my MIL's reaction to mice. The cat they had used to bring them into the house to play with, then let them go. MIL would freak, and invariably the mouse would wind up in their shoe closet. When we lived with the inlaws I got pretty good at catching the mice in a plastic grocery sack then setting them loose again outside.

Ooops, forgot to bring in the cranberry nut-bread from the car. Let me run out & get it....

..... Here we go!!!! Cranberries picked locally. Oughta go nicely with your locally grown mouse. ;)

Uh, I brought a couple of roaches for after dinner...

I've been wondering where I might get some hides to use for heads on the line of miniature banjos I plan to produce. I guess I could call them The Judge's Famouse Mini-banjos . . . ?

And since I'm coming from down South, I'll bring some sho-nuff Carolina moonshine - aged in the woods since last Tuesday!

Mice tails were engineered by nature to be the perfect dipping utensil. How many other finger foods come with a built in dipper-gripper?

Thank you for the compliment that you gave me on my blog. Do you have any left overs around? :)

Ahh the mouse is cute.

Figures, I always show up late. Hopefully there are left overs!!

One of the nice things about my chocolate mous*e is that it's so economical: I always have the main ingredient on hand and can whip up a fresh batch in very short order! (So do come for "leftovers")!

Mickey! You can't eat Mickey! Get a cat and let the cat eat Mickey. Now THAT's entertainment.

cute mouse. When I was younger the landlady's son caught a mounse in our appartment. Then took it outside and disposed of it. I won't tell you how.

DirkStar said...

Yes, I'd like to order the twenty piece bucket and a side order of slaw.

Does that come with bisquits?

No, that'll do it.

I'll just pull around to the window.
