i think the problem with most fruitcakes these days is all the cheap candied type fruit that's bought in the stores to make it.

Craig - DSL has made me what I am today... I marvel daily at the fact that a DSL node was planted a mile from my house, in the absolute middle of Nowhere!! (Is Verizon expecting a population shift?) It is truly an unexplained miracle.
The song is "Nobody Likes a Fruitcake" sung by the male members of the broadway cast of "Lion King"(2004). Sorry you couldn't hear it.
Thanks for the Boxing Day wishes! I am close enough to Canada to hear the rustle of shoppers in mukluks...
My sis gave me a fruitcake this year, after several years without. she knows I don't eat it, but it's from the town we were born in. Must find someone to regift it to!
